website, a graphic is generally an image in digital format, displayed on a
web page.
The graphic elements of a website include pictures, logos, icons, photographs, diagrams, maps, and coloured shapes. For example, the
design of a website may include coloured shapes and
images to set the theme.
Most text on a website is displayed in HTML format, however, sometimes text is converted to a graphic format in order to display a particular font in the correct manner.
Images need to be converted to specific formats in order to display correctly on the web. The most common formats are gif, jpg, or png.
